Terms and Conditions
Strategic Grants processes online transactions, for GEM Local subscriptions and grants training (including webinars and workshops), using Stripe.
Stripe is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant payment gateway.
Unless otherwise stated, payments processed through Strategic Grants’ New Zealand website (www.strategicgrants.co.nz) are in New Zealand dollars.
Online Registration
After registering online for GEM Local, a grants workshop or a webinar, you will receive an email confirmation from containing your registration details. We will normally confirm receipt of your registration within a few minutes of ordering. Please refer to the section below that is relevant to the service you are accessing.
Pre-Recorded Webinars
While registering and paying online, you will be prompted to create your username and password to access the pre-recorded webinar. Once logged in you will be able to view the pre-recorded webinar immediately or at a later time of your choosing.

Workshops
You will be contacted again by email 1 – 5 business days before the event, with final confirmation of the details.

GEM Local
While registering and paying online, you will be prompted to create your username and password to access GEM Local. Your access will commence immediately and continue for the selected length of your subscription (three, six or 12 months), at which time you will be prompted to renew.
GEM Local payments are billed in the currency of the country in which the organisation is based, i.e. New Zealand based organisations registering for GEM Local will be billed in New Zealand dollars.

Cancellations and Refunds
Webinars
Strategic Grants does not accept cancellations or make refunds for webinars once payment has been processed.
You will have 30 days to view the webinar content. If you are unable to access the content in that time due to a problem with Strategic Grants’ website, you will be provided with another 30 days’ access once the issue is resolved. Call Strategic Grants on 09 801 0433 (New Zealand) to resolve access issues.
Workshops
If attendance is cancelled in writing more than five business days before the event, the registration fee will be refunded, less an administration fee of $50 (in the currency of the original transaction).
Refunds are not available if cancellations are made less than five business days before the event, but registrations may be transferred to a colleague or to a later event at no cost. Please contact us at [email protected] if you need to cancel or transfer your registration.
While it’s unlikely to happen, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop/event due to low enrolment, presenter illness or other circumstances. If the event is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. If the event is rescheduled, participants will have the option of attending the rescheduled event or receiving a full refund.
GEM Local
You may choose not to renew your GEM Local subscription at the end of any subscription period (three, six or 12 months, depending on your selection).
Security
All online credit card transactions performed on the Strategic Grants website, using the Stripe payment gateway, are secured payments.
The following security measures are applied to these payments:
- Payments are fully automated with an immediate response;
- Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Strategic Grants or any outside party;
- All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate;
- All transaction data is encrypted for storage within Stripe’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data;
- Stripe is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian and New Zealand banks;
- Stripe at no time touches your funds; and
- All monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Strategic Grants.
